      一、掌握核心詞匯策略

      新教材詞匯數(shù)量之多,難度之大是老師和同學(xué)們十分頭痛的事。新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)分級(jí)目標(biāo)五級(jí)要求學(xué)生只須掌握1500—1600個(gè)單詞,200—300個(gè)詞組。教材中的單詞不用遇詞必背,只要是話題詞匯同時(shí)也是目標(biāo)詞匯才下功夫掌握。

      二、詞匯呈現(xiàn)策略

      教材編寫(xiě)的意圖非常明確。詞匯都是在單元教學(xué)開(kāi)始部分以不同的方式呈現(xiàn)。沒(méi)有必要用獨(dú)立課時(shí)集中學(xué)習(xí)詞匯。等學(xué)生把單詞背會(huì)再進(jìn)行單元教學(xué)。詞匯呈現(xiàn)策略大體包括以下幾個(gè)方面:

      第一,選擇1盤(pán)(再次強(qiáng)調(diào)是1盤(pán)而非1套)適合自身英語(yǔ)水平的磁帶。第二,每天集中精力把A面和B面連續(xù)聽(tīng)兩遍。

      第三,要堅(jiān)持天天聽(tīng),但每隔6天要休息1天。

      第四,直到聽(tīng)清磁帶中的所有內(nèi)容。

      第二階段的七個(gè)要領(lǐng)

      第一,把已經(jīng)能完全聽(tīng)清的磁帶中的第1盤(pán)磁帶再找出來(lái)。

      第二,聽(tīng)寫(xiě)這盤(pán)磁帶的內(nèi)容。

      第三,做聽(tīng)寫(xiě)練習(xí)時(shí),一句一句地聽(tīng)。即:聽(tīng)完一句后,先按暫停,把剛才聽(tīng)到的寫(xiě)下來(lái),反復(fù)聽(tīng),直到完全聽(tīng)清這句為止。不會(huì)的單詞根據(jù)發(fā)音大致拼寫(xiě)出來(lái)即可。

      第六,感覺(jué)到所有的句子都已經(jīng)能朗朗上口以后,便結(jié)束這一階段。

      第七,整個(gè)過(guò)程中,每個(gè)星期要有1天與英語(yǔ)完全隔絕。

      第三階段的七個(gè)要領(lǐng)

      第一,用英英詞典查以前做聽(tīng)寫(xiě)練習(xí)時(shí)不懂的單詞。

      英語(yǔ)“點(diǎn)滴”談

      (一)云程出品

      今天,我們一起聊點(diǎn)輕松的事情,筆者將把自己英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中的一些經(jīng)驗(yàn)、感受、小故事和大家分享一下。

      自虐=“虐”自己

      “自虐”,一個(gè)看上去非?!氨瘧K”的詞,英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)中啥事會(huì)讓人有種“受虐”的感覺(jué)呢?相信很多同學(xué)的答案會(huì)是“背~~單~~詞”。沒(méi)錯(cuò),“背~~單~~詞”確實(shí)是一個(gè)“受虐”的過(guò)程,不背的話“受考試虐”,背的話又“受自己虐”。

      有沒(méi)有輕松一點(diǎn)的方式呢?有的人發(fā)明了一種“中文諧音大法”,如ambulance記成“俺不能死”即“救護(hù)車(chē)”。這種方式看上去好像有點(diǎn)意思,但細(xì)想一番,英語(yǔ)中需要記的單詞那么多,而其中卻只有極少部分能采用這種方式進(jìn)行記憶,且這種方式用多了會(huì)一定程度上影響到你英文發(fā)音的準(zhǔn)確性,得不償失啊。據(jù)了解,筆者周?chē)⒄Z(yǔ)好的人還真沒(méi)有用這種方式去記單詞的。

      所以,“背~~單詞”最終還是要回到“自虐”的正確道路上?!白耘啊币彩怯屑记傻模械娜伺暗故桥傲?,甚至虐得比任何人還虐,單詞還是沒(méi)記住,這相當(dāng)于“白虐”?!白耘啊钡募记煽偨Y(jié)起來(lái)就兩個(gè)詞:“分類”和“反復(fù)”。

      先說(shuō)說(shuō)“分類”,“分類”就是把單詞按照熟練程度的不同進(jìn)行歸類。像desk, book這種詞,你背5遍有4遍是在浪費(fèi)時(shí)間,而像salamander這種詞你背5遍可能都記不住,“分類”就是要幫你做到“重點(diǎn)詞”重點(diǎn)記,避免在一些簡(jiǎn)單的單詞上浪費(fèi)青春。

      再來(lái)說(shuō)說(shuō)“反復(fù)”,筆者的一位英語(yǔ)老師在談到“記單詞”時(shí)講過(guò)一句至理名言“反復(fù)多次就是重復(fù)很多次,反復(fù)多次就是重復(fù)很多次,反復(fù)多次就是重復(fù)很多次”。Salamander這個(gè)詞你一次性花10分鐘去記它,效果不及你10天每天花一分鐘去記它來(lái)得好。所以,背單詞時(shí)不要追求一次性記牢很多難詞,這是不現(xiàn)實(shí)的,應(yīng)該反復(fù)多次地記,重復(fù)很多次地記。大家看完上面一段話后,印象最深的是不是就是“反復(fù)”和“重復(fù)”兩個(gè)詞?那正是因?yàn)樗鼈儾粩喑霈F(xiàn),才讓你印象深刻。

      最后,再來(lái)談?wù)劇白耘啊钡膭?dòng)力問(wèn)題。很多同學(xué)背了幾年單詞還是跳不出“A”“B”“C”的怪圈,每次背到C開(kāi)頭的詞就放棄,下次再背,背到C開(kāi)頭的詞又再次放棄,那是因?yàn)槟闳狈Α白耘啊钡膭?dòng)力。這里,筆者考慮了很久,決定把自己的經(jīng)歷拿出來(lái)和大家分享,希望對(duì)大家有所幫助。

      筆者當(dāng)時(shí)背單詞時(shí)起得比雞還早,大冬天里每天早上6點(diǎn)就準(zhǔn)時(shí)來(lái)到大學(xué)校園里的一塊草坪,開(kāi)始像瘋子一樣背單詞。哪來(lái)的動(dòng)力呢?“金錢(qián)”的動(dòng)力。筆者那時(shí)候背單詞的目的是要考托福,打算大學(xué)畢業(yè)后出國(guó)留學(xué)。當(dāng)時(shí)也不知從哪聽(tīng)來(lái)的消息,說(shuō)托福的成績(jī)將嚴(yán)重關(guān)系到留學(xué)的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金問(wèn)題,而老師又說(shuō)了“單詞全認(rèn)識(shí),閱讀是滿分;單詞全認(rèn)識(shí),閱讀是滿分~~”?!癆 equal to B, B equal to C, it means A equal to C”,這不正相當(dāng)于“背~~單~~詞”關(guān)系到“留學(xué)的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金問(wèn)題”嗎?于是,筆者當(dāng)時(shí)根據(jù)托福詞匯總量和留學(xué)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金數(shù)目,用了一個(gè)天才的公式算出了“背一個(gè)單詞=賺10美元”的真理,然后將其貼在自己的桌子上,每天看著,供奉著。別人在打籃球,我在背單詞賺錢(qián);別人在睡覺(jué),我在背單詞賺錢(qián);別人在打Dota,我在背單詞賺錢(qián);吃飯時(shí),背單詞;上廁所時(shí),背單詞;睡覺(jué)時(shí),詞匯書(shū)就放在枕頭旁邊,恨不得多記一個(gè)單詞。這樣,兩個(gè)月下來(lái),再看托福閱讀,里面已經(jīng)幾乎沒(méi)有我不認(rèn)識(shí)的單詞了。這種經(jīng)歷艱辛后成功的感覺(jué)至今回憶起來(lái)都有一種淚流滿面的沖動(dòng),這也是青春的一部分啊!
